VERNON DAVIS, CAPTAIN of the San Francisco 49ers and one of the NFL's top tight ends, is Force Factor's fastest athlete.

Davis was a multi-sport star growing up in Washington, D.C. His talents eventually led him to the University of Maryland, where he continued to dominate the competition. Widely considered the nation's best tight end, Davis was selected 6th overall in the 2006 NFL draft by his current team, the San Francisco 49ers. Three years later, Davis is still living up to his potential as a first round pick. Built like a Mack truck, but sporting a 40-yard dash time of 4.38 seconds, Davis has been punishing opponents his entire career.

Davis' excellent blocking skills, combined with his freakish athleticism and rock-solid frame, have made him one of the premier tight ends in all of football. He has also blossomed into one of the league's most dangerous weapons from the tight end position, leading a revitalized 49ers offense this season.
