How We’re Offsetting Our Carbon Emissions
USA: Mississippi Valley Reforestation

This project aims to reforest one million acres of the Lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley, an area which was once covered by 22 million acres of dense forest, less than 20% of which remain today.

Brazil: Acre Amazon REDD+ Portfolio

This collection of three Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) projects aims to prevent deforestation across 105,000 hectares of pristine rainforest in the Amazon basin, protecting some of the world’s most biodiverse habitats.

Kenya: Burn Efficient Cookstoves

Communities in rural Kenya typically use wood and charcoal to fuel open fires and inefficient cookstoves, creating indoor air pollution, releasing CO2e emissions into the atmosphere, and putting pressure on local forests. These burn efficient cookstoves are manufactured and distributed locally, employing more than 400 people, 60% of whom are women.

Guatemala: Clean Water and Cooking

Water-borne disease has been identified as a national priority in Guatemala. This project enables access to clean water through the distribution of water filters, and improved cooking conditions by providing stove designs that increase fuel efficiency and reduce harmful indoor air pollution; alleviating the pressure on national forests.

Packaging Changes for Improved Sustainability
Recycle Image
  • Removed polypropylene from ~50% of product labels, switching to paper where possible
  • Switched to eco-friendlier substrate for carton packaging
  • Added “Please Recycle” logos to all boxes
